Kathy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Miami. Her time at the University of Miami was pivotal, as she worked with the AIDS Research Unit, engaging in grant writing and community outreach, helping scale life-changing programs.
Driven by a profound desire to affect change, Kathy pursued a law degree from Nova Southeastern University, which led her to a fulfilling role as an Assistant Public Defender. In the courtroom, she was a staunch advocate for the rights of adults and juveniles alike, fighting for justice and equity. Her passion for education and knowledge-sharing never diminished as she engaged in law consulting and delighted in educating high school students.
